Sea Phantom is a persistent autonomous maritime platform designed to push undersea capability forward without keeping manned assets on station.Built for contested and communications-challenged environments, Sea Phantom is designed to transit independently into the operating area, remain forward for extended periods, and support distributed unmanned underwater systems from inside the battlespace. The current prototype test article is being used to validate the platform’s baseline in-water behavior and retire early technical risk. Testing to date has focused on buoyancy and trim, surface stability, directional control, turning behavior, and hull integration, while informing the next round of refinement and scale-up.
